Is my health data really private?
Yes. MetabolicOS stores everything in your browser's localStorage. Your data never leaves your device. We have no servers, no database, no way to access your information. You can export your data as a JSON file anytime and delete it by clearing your browser data.
What happens if I clear my browser data?
Your data will be lost. That's why we built the export feature — back up regularly. You can import your backup on the same device or a new one to restore everything. We recommend installing MetabolicOS as a PWA (Add to Home Screen) which gives it dedicated storage that's less likely to be cleared accidentally.
Do I need an internet connection?
Only for the initial load and the AI food parsing feature. Once installed as a PWA, the app works completely offline. Log meals, BP, weight — everything syncs to your local storage without internet.
Is this a medical device?
No. MetabolicOS is a personal tracking and logging tool. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult your healthcare provider for medical decisions. The Health Report feature is designed to facilitate discussions with your doctor, not replace them.
Can I use it on my phone?
Yes — MetabolicOS is a Progressive Web App. On iOS, open it in Safari and tap "Add to Home Screen." On Android, Chrome will prompt you to install it. It looks and feels like a native app with full offline support.
What if I want a refund on Pro?
